Job description:
Hitachi is looking for one marine coordinator to join the Taiwan Power Company Offshore Windfarm Project. Marine coordinator shall be responsible to following, but not limited to:
• General marine coordination activities. Basically, 4-day-work/4-day-off work schedule but with exceptions. 24-hour operation and night shifts are required.) Taking responsibility in all marine coordination tasks
• Helping the team understand performance targets and goals
• Managing work progress, Scheduling work hours and shifts
• Providing reports and activity updates to the managers
• Meeting with O&M and Offshore Retrofit Team (ORT), draw up 3 days look ahead schedule
• Unwanted vessel report and push away
• CTV inspection (H&M, Exercise, safety equipment)
Qualifications:

•Basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and other MS Office software.
•Good English communication skills. Good communication skill.
•Languages:English, Mandarin
Other criteria:
1-3 years of experience as a marine coordinator is required. Experience should include:
・Experience as the marine coordinator in Taiwan Power Company Offshore Windfarm Phase 1 Project is very preferred.
・Service on CTV or related marine work experience.
・Experience of offshore wind farm project is preferred.
Your Profile:
1. A degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
2. Knowledge of vessel systems, including mechanical, electrical, and propulsion systems.
3. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make effective decisions under pressure.
4. Proficiency in English (written and spoken); additional language skills are a plus.
5. Excellent organizational and communication skills to manage multiple tasks and coordinate with various stakeholders.
Job Description (includes, but not limited to the following):
1. Ensure the technical performance of vessels, maintaining operational efficiency and compliance with the standards.
2. Plan and oversee maintenance, repairs, and dry-docking activities, coordinating with shipyards and contractors as required.
3. Conduct regular inspections to address potential issues and verify vessel safety, functionality, and regulatory compliance.
4. Analyze and report on vessel performance, proposing solutions to improve reliability and cost-efficiency.
5. Liaise with classification societies, flag states, and regulatory authorities to maintain compliance with all applicable standards.
6. Collaborate with crews, project teams, and departments to align technical operations with organizational objectives.
7. Manage technical budgets, monitor costs, and oversee the procurement of necessary spare parts, tools, and equipment.
8. Provide technical expertise in emergency situations, troubleshooting and resolving incidents efficiently.
Position Summary:
The position is responsible for all vessels planning by coordinating with each alliance partner, up/down stream concerned parties and central planner to provide the most correct & reliable inbound & outbound files for yard TT plan and shipside vessel operation.
Job Accountabilities:
1. Coordinate with central planner of each line for stowage planning and follow stowage instruction, pattern and special requirement to ensure each vessel pre-stowage plan with maximum container loading and safety sailing stability condition.
2. Ship particulars building and updating.
3. Input arrival data (Baplie) in CASP system and upload to CATOS through EDI system without error message also upload to MTNet, then update important stowage information including DG/Reefer/OOG/COD/BB…etc.
4. Creating restow containers for operation convenience and get approval from central planner.
5. Provide necessary data including handling summary, manifest, certificate and other specific information to chief officer or master.
6. According to container yard location to provide excellent bay plan for shipside operation and adjust it timely to meet operation need like as CT, OOG, late come or other special request and satisfy chief mate’s requirement for DG segregation, RF plugging, lashing force, weight distribution.
7. Departure EDI file finalize in CATOS system, vessel operation stowage papers/documentation filed and management to ensure all in good order to avoid any loss or service failure and provide them to vessel operator & MTNet.
8. All vessel operation stowage papers filing.
9. Identify container restow account and solve billing charge problem.
10. Learning any new operation system, test and maintain carefully.
11. Provide the best service, communication and cooperation with up/down stream concerned parties and Alliance partners.

Qualification and Experiences:
1. Bachelor's degree or above
2. Major in navigation, transportation management or related fields
3. At least 3 years terminal operation or related fields experience
4. Basic stowage logical concept & good command of English and PC skill
5. 3-shift working pattern
