We are seeking Software Engineer to enhance and operate world-class cloud services that handle terabyte-scale datasets and millions of requests, delivering AI-driven insights that make a global impact.
 
What you will learn
- Hands-on experience with DevOps systems, CI/CD pipelines, unit testing, test automation, and the operation of large-scale data processing platforms and microservices, along with exposure to state-of-the-art AI technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of Azure services, including Azure HDInsight, Azure Synapse, Azure Event Hub, CosmosDB, Storage Account, and modern authentication methods.
- Direct collaboration with talented engineers across the United States, China, and Europe.
- Opportunities to design, build, and operate high-quality, reliable, cloud-based data processing systems, leveraging AI/ML to extract actionable insights from massive datasets.
 
Responsibilities
- Operate and improve deployment pipelines and validation processes to ensure high service quality.
- Troubleshoot, investigate, and develop solution to solve service issues reported by customers or support teams.
- Create data queries, develop dashboards in PowerBI, and internal monitoring tools.
- Ensure compliance with EU data protection requirements, develop secure and compliant data processing and authentication mechanisms, and address security vulnerabilities.
 
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or a related field.
Strong programming skills in one or more languages: C#, C/C++, Java, Scala, or Python.
Fluent in English and Mandarin, with strong logical thinking and clear communication skills.
Excellent problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and capability to work independently.
 
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in ETL development using Azure services, including Azure HDInsight, Azure Synapse, Azure Event Hub, CosmosDB, and Storage Account.
- Proficiency in managing Azure-based data infrastructures, including Windows systems administration (VM or physical), storage, networking, security, certificates, and compliance.
- Familiarity with Apache Spark and Scala.
- Knowledge of modern infrastructure and automation technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Prometheus, Grafana, Jenkins, and Helm.
