Key Responsibilities:
• Language Facilitation: Provide accurate simultaneous and consecutive interpretation during project meetings, site visits, technical discussions, and official communications between Thai, English, and Mandarin Chinese.
• Document Translation: Translate a variety of project-related documents, including technical specifications, engineering drawings, reports, contracts, permits, and correspondence, ensuring precision and adherence to industry terminology.
• Project Coordination: Assist with the logistical and administrative coordination of the construction project, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and arranging travel as needed.
• Communication Hub: Act as the primary point of contact for language-related inquiries, ensuring all team members are clearly understood across linguistic barriers.
• Documentation Support: Aid in the preparation, filing, and management of project documentation, ensuring all records are organized and accessible.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and site personnel to support daily operations and achieve project milestones.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Linguistics, Translation, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience (minimum 1 years) as a professional translator and interpreter, with demonstrated ability in Thai, English, and Mandarin Chinese (fluent in speaking, reading, writing).
• Previous experience in the construction, engineering, or renewable energy sectors is highly advantageous.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and cross-cultural skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of prioritizing tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and translation memory tools
