We are looking for a Professional Accounting Specialist (Taipei) to start from the AP responsibilities to build the roots : Managing accounts payable using accounting software and other programs Handling accounts payable for separate entities and vendors Analyzing workflow processes Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors Ensuring bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures Processing due invoices for payments Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts 3-Way Matching of PO/Inventory Receipt/Bills Assist in assigned GL Account Reconciliations Assist on month-end and year-end closures Qualifications and Education Requirements BS in Accounting or Finance or relevant course work is preferred Minimum 3-5 years of corporate accounting experience General knowledge of US GAAP is a plus ERP experience is highly preferred AvidXchange or Concur similar product experience highly preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Excel – including the ability to develop analyses using Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, and other Excel tools required Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement A desire to never stop learning (Professional + Personal Development) Bilingual in English and Mandarin (Fluent)
