The Industrial Design Surfacing Team is a key component of new product development for Stanley Black & Decker’s Hand Tools and Storage Business. The team delivers complex 3D surface models that represent the design intent of the industrial design team. The Industrial Design 3D Surfacer will help deliver 3D CAD surface models for multiple brands of the business. As a member of the Industrial Design Surfacing Team, you will work closely with talented and experienced Designers, Engineers and Program Managers to provide critical 3D CAD productivity. Daily duties will entail creation of 3D CAD surface models using a variety of surfacing tools in CREO to support new product development projects and concepts. The Job As a Supply Planner, you will be responsible for ensuring the continuous supply and timely delivery of production and non-production materials to maintain optimal efficiency and effectiveness of the production line. Your role will involve scheduling and releasing shipments for open purchase orders, work orders, and kanbans, while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory for specified sources of supply and product portfolios. You will also monitor supplier capacity against incoming customer orders and forecasts, handle quality issues related to on-time delivery and non-conforming shipments, and resolve invoice exceptions and price discrepancies.
