R0066 - Hardware SI Engineer

Ubiquiti Taipei office is looking for a Signal Integrity Engineer who shares our passion for innovation and technology and desire to do something extraordinary. This position will enable you to participate in design validation testing for IT products, like Ethernet Switches, and EoT products with worldwide impact. You will be in touch with our R&D labs from different countries around the globe. We expect you to bring your experience, enthusiasm, and creativity wherever you go and put them in the work you do. You should be able to think out of the box when finding solutions to new problems and make things work. Responsibilities: - Signal integrity measurement and tuning: QSFP28, SFP28, 10Gbps SFP+ serdes, 10GBase-T, 1000base-T, PCIE, SATA - Signal integrity simulation - Stack-up design, PCB material selection - High speed IO Layout guideline - Impedance and S-parameters measurement Knowledge and Experience: - At least 6 years experience of SI simulation and measurement - Familiar with Ansys HFSS, Siwave or similar simulation tool - Familiar with Oscilloscope, PNA, spectrum analyzer, time domain reflectometer, logic analyzer, etc - Have knowledge of timing jitter, cross-talk, signal compensation, and S-parameters
