Server Senior SI Engineer (Hybrid)

I. JOB SUMMARY Sr.SI Engineering – involved in a project in which you need to assess the SI/PI risk by using in-house or 3rd party tool to perform the simulation to analyze and optimize the design, also need to co-work with cross-function to discuss related design issues and suggest the possible solution to mitigate it. I. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Perform SI/PI simulation to analyze and optimize the related issues. • Co-work with cross-function team o EE team for RFP discussion of PCB material selection and trace length limitation. o Layout team for routing layer strategy, rule review and modification o Cable team for high-speed cable assembly quality and routing length guidance. o EA team for debugging and measurement methodology discussion. • Familiar with Intel/AMD server platform tool, ICAT/Seasim/S2eye. • Experience with 3rd party tool, Ansys, ADS and Sigrity. • Design and create database of PCB stack-up and layout rule.
