E-Commerce Data Engineer

Job Description : We are seeking a savvy Data Engineer to join our growing team. This position will be at the forefront of data infrastructure development and will be responsible for expanding and optimizing our data and data pipeline architecture. The ideal candidate will be an experienced data pipeline building and data wrangler who enjoys optimizing data systems and building them from the ground up. This person must be self-directed and comfortable supporting the data needs of multiple ongoing projects. The right candidate will be excited by the prospect of optimizing and designing our company’s data architecture to support our next generation of data initiatives. Responsibilities: 1. Assembling large, complex sets of data that meet non-functional and functional business requirements 2. Developing and maintaining data pipelines from various data sources for efficient ETL processes using Fivetran, DBT, and Snowflake. 3. Ensuring data quality and integrity through data validation, cleansing, error handling, and security measures 4. Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.
