We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Legal Manager to join our Legal & Compliance team. The ideal candidate will possess strong legal expertise in the finance or insurance sector and play a key role in managing legal and governance matters, while providing strategic legal advice to support the company’s objectives. This is a highly visible leadership role that will report directly to the Head of Legal & Compliance.
Job Responsibilities
Legal and Governance Oversight:
• Assist the Head of Legal & Compliance in overseeing the legal function of the company and managing the legal department’s day-to-day operations, while developing and implementing legal strategies that support business growth opportunities.
• Provide comprehensive legal support and advice to management and business units on various issues, including regulatory compliance, corporate governance, daily operations, and strategic initiatives.
• Serve as a trusted advisor and partner to various stakeholders, ensuring alignment between legal and business strategies, and communicating changes to stakeholders.
• Support business growth opportunities related to high-net-worth clientele for distribution channels, in collaboration with the company’s affiliates or strategic partners, while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address legal implications related to operational functions and distribution channels.
• Manage and provide technical support on legal and contractual documentation across various departmental needs.
• Develop and implement procedures that streamline workflows to enhance operational efficiency, while maintaining the standard of legal due diligence.
• Oversee the legal documentation review and approval processes for new products and marketing materials, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and collaboration with the Compliance team.
• Collaborate closely with Risk and Compliance teams and other departments to ensure relevant laws and regulations are complied with.
• Prepare regular and ad hoc reports/updates to senior management and the executive audit and risk committee.
• Provide support for regulatory submissions, regulatory liaison (as needed), and the preparation of corporate governance documents.
• Ensure that all governance documentation reflects the latest legal standards and promotes organizational compliance.
• Display leadership skills and mentor the Legal & Compliance team, fostering a high-performance culture and professional growth.
Regulatory Monitoring:
• Identify and analyze emerging laws and regulatory changes that may impact business operations or overall company strategy by continuously monitoring legal and regulatory developments at local and international levels.
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of changes in the insurance regulatory framework that may impact the company and communicate these changes and implications to relevant stakeholders to help the company stay ahead of regulatory changes, minimize legal risks, and capitalize on new market opportunities.
Legal Counsel Management:
• Work closely with external legal counsel on regulatory or litigation matters; assist the Head of Legal & Compliance in managing external counsel engagements, legal risks, and legal expenses, ensuring cost-effective legal services are provided.

• 支援涉及高資產客戶的通路業務發展機會,與公司關係企業或策略夥伴合作,同時確保遵循相關法規。
• 與跨部門團隊合作,處理營運功能及通路相關的法律議題。
• 管理及提供部門所需的法律及契約文件專業支援。
• 制定與執行流程以提升營運效率,同時維持法律盡職調查的標準。
• 監督新產品及行銷資料的法律文件審查與核准程序,確保符合法規,並與法遵團隊協作。
• 與風險管理、法遵及其他部門密切合作,確保遵循相關法令規範。
• 定期或依需求撰寫報告/更新,提交高階管理層及審計與風險委員會。
• 協助監管機關的申報、聯繫(視需要)及公司治理文件的準備。
• 確保所有文件符合法律最新標準,並促進組織合規。
• 展現領導能力,指導法務暨法遵團隊,培養高效文化及專業成長。
法規監測:
• 持續關注國內外新興法令與監理變動,分析其對公司營運或策略的影響。
• 保持對台灣保險監理架構變動的最新理解,並向相關利害關係人傳達其影響,協助公司領先因應、降低法律風險並把握市場機會。
外部法律顧問管理:
• 與外部法律顧問密切合作處理監管或訴訟事宜
