Position overview:
- To lead the Subaru local Marketing team, bringing together strategic thinking and local nuances to deliver a bar none approach in marketing Subaru in-country.
- Need to be equipped with in-depth holistic branding and marketing knowledge, i.e. to be able to identify where our brand’s position is currently and how to mitigate amongst the competitors and amplify our USP and gaining share of voice meanwhile.
- Need to develop sound strategies, formulate media planning/review and oversee creative, above-the-line, below-the-line and on digital,
- Need to ensure consistent outcomes to drive revenue growth, in all media. Need to drive overall Marketing Communications, Marketing Operations and Budget Planning to ensure timely planning and implementation of marketing plans to support growth of Subaru in country.
These include:
• Media buys on all above- the- line and below- the- line activities
• Budget for events and ground activation,
• Digital and activation
- Ensuring direction set and work in conjunction with Events and Corporate Communications, and Regional Marketing to build brand equity and drive ROIs.
- Required to review and develop / optimized SOP and guidelines for brand and marketing collaterals with regional Marketing team to ensure consistency and efficiency in the overall branding and marketing communication of Subaru in-country.
- Need to be overall in charge of:
- Planning of yearly A&P budget
- To raise timely Marketing Fund Application to follow-through
- To monitor and analyse and ensure costs optimization and efficiency based on cost per car
- YTD of each quantitative targets based on cost per unit and rationalize the achievement level based on market situation
- Dealer Marketing, and Events.
- Marketing support for Website, newsletters
Requirements:
- Over 10 years of marketing experience, with understanding of the local creative and media landscape, media consumption patterns and habits and strong analytics background.
- Proven leadership capability with agency experience and/or content experience an advantage.
- Be able to work and lead teams in a high pressured, ROI driven environment.
- Experience in the car industry and managing car brands is an advantage.
- Driving license ( Entitle a company car to use. )

1. The purpose of this role is to provide an overall management of procurement operation to facilitate the fast growing of business and standardize/ efficient the local process for long-term operation.
2. Assist the Leaders of Division Procurement and Head of Finance to comply and execute the Group/ Division procurement policies (e.g. GPPA(Group Procurement Policies & Authorities) and ensure the compliance to the local regulations.
3. Conduct training/refreshers on the GPPA implementation /adoption at the workplace – creation of awareness for operations. Be the point of contact or advisory for the GPPA and Division Procurement SOPs.
4. Develop and establish the local procurement procedures for the necessary and relevant to the business requirements by following the guidelines and directions of GPA and GPPA.
5. Support GPPA compliance assessments on a periodic basis where applicable.
6. Be the focal point to coordinate tenders for the deliberation. Ensure the overall tender strategy is properly agreed & set up prior to tender process.
7. Manage on evaluations and negotiation with shortlisted tenderers to help achieve savings/cost avoidance.
8. Be responsible for the management of indirect procurement, including general expense, Marketing and capital items. Oversee the planning of the operation units in aspects of purchasing and budget execution.
9. Provide communication and visibility to the Management team for the ongoing performance of key procurement metrics and works.
10. Manage the PR/ PO process efficiently and transparent process of vender selection and comprehensive vender data management.
11. Manage the vendor contracts and work on contract negotiation and de-risking the supply base.
