Qualifications
- 2 years of BMC-related experience or equivalent.
- Firm understanding of servers operating in a data center environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-moving, small team environment.
- Working knowledge of major server components (motherboards, hard drives, RAM, CPU, heat sinks, fans, etc.) required.
- Ability to use appropriate test equipment for development/debugging.

As the Sustain Hardware Technical Lead for the Industrial Ethernet Equipment product line, responsible for leading technical operations, design revisions, and customer technical support for mass-produced products. This role involves coordinating cross-functional collaboration to resolve issues and drive design improvements, with the goal of effectively extending the product lifecycle and mitigating supply chain risks.
ᴍᴀᴊᴏʀ ᴀʀᴇᴀs ᴏғ ʀᴇsᴘᴏɴsɪʙɪʟɪᴛʏ
1. Hardware Sustaining & Design Optimization: Lead and execute hardware revisions and design updates in response to supply chain changes (e.g., component end-of-life) or to enhance product performance and reliability.
- Project management of all hardware and validation related activities in schedule plan.
- Evaluate replace solution and translation into designs.
- Evaluate design change requests from customer need.
2. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Problem Solving: Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance, to efficiently resolve complex hardware issues reported from the field or internal teams. You will be expected to drive root cause analysis and implement continuous improvements in both design and processes.
3. Supply chain Strategic Achievement: Ensure the long-term stability and reliability of the product portfolio. Your efforts will directly contribute to extending the product lifecycle and proactively mitigate supply chain risks to guarantee consistent product delivery.
- Evaluate second source and test plan for alternative assessment procedure.
- Risk management / Mitigation of Risks regarding component level in product.
1. In-depth knowledge of PCB layout, OrCAD/Allegro tools, circuit design, and PCB structure.
2. Prepare technical documentation including product specifications, layout instructions, test procedures, etc.
3. Transfer products to manufacturing with clear documentation and help C.M. and technical support to solve problems.
4. Hardware engineer need co-working with PM, BIOS, IPMI, EMI, Thermal, ME RD friendly. Need have good team work. Need to have the concept of project ownership.

6. Resolve complicated issues and drive to root cause on critical engineering problems
⚫ Design server system and relative boards and review high-speed PCB layout.
⚫ Work with function team like Power, SI, mechanical and thermal engineers to ensure optimize hardware solutions.
⚫ Come out test plans to ensure base function of hardware.
⚫ Work with suppliers and vendors to select components and solutions.
⚫ Support 2nd source solutions and validation.
⚫ Work closely with firmware teams to integrate and troubleshoot management topology.
⚫ Support manufacturing teams during the production phase.
We are looking for a firmware Engineer to help us create intelligence audio products. You will lead the development of firmware/software coding tasks for the various microcontroller (MCU) applications across our own products. You will also engage in projects from the concept phase, through development, prototype build and validation all the way through volume production.
Responsibilities
- Designing firmware solutions based on project or customer needs.
- Testing and verifying firmware to ensure requirements are met.
- Working with cross-functional teams to develop new features and optimize performance.
- Developing or porting acoustic algorithms to enhance audio quality across a variety of hardware form-factors and use-cases.
- Writing and maintaining firmware documentation.
Requirements and skills
- 3~5 years experience in firmware development.
- Master degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++.
- Embedded firmware development experience with C/C++, Assembly.
- Familiar with MCU controller such as ARM, STM32 / NXP.
- Familiarity with data structures and algorithms.
- Experience in bluetooth SoC platform (e.g. QCC514X/QCC517X) is a plus.
- Multiprocessor communication firmware development experience with I2C/I2S is a plus.
- Experience in porting acoustic algorithms to MCU is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong documentation and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative product development environment.
