JOB SUMMARY:
In charge of finance department , responsible for all finance data and activity.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare financial statements, general ledgers, and month-end closing reports.
- Track accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP).
- Conduct financial data analysis.
- Be responsible for yearly planning and budgeting.
- Conduct quarterly inventory counts.
- Prepare reports for board meetings.
- Calculate salaries and process bank payments.
- Serve as the main contact person for auditors.
- Optimize existing workflows and internal audit procedures.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
This role is the key person in charge of fraud prevention initiatives in Taiwan. While the title is related to "fraud," the scope covers cross-functional business analysis aimed at improving the overall experience of delivery partners, merchants, and customers.
Although this position doesn't require SQL, the person needs to understand basic data reading in Excel and extract actionable insights. The ability to communicate clearly in English and collaborate with regional stakeholders is crucial.
Core Responsibilities:
- Own the fraud/risk process and strategy in TW, aligning with international teams and policies.
- Plan and monitor three key experience journeys:
1. Rider experience
2. Vendor experience
3. Customer experience
- Identify critical pain points or fraud risks within each flow.
- Read and interpret data (using Excel or dashboards) to understand what's happening and where improvements are needed.
- Coordinate with regional and local teams to implement policy/process changes or develop new tools to address issues.
- Regularly report fraud trends and project updates to the TW Director and relevant stakeholders.
Skills Required:
- Strong communication skills in English (verbal & written) – daily interaction with regional teams.
- Basic knowledge of data analysis – no need for SQL, but must be able to use Excel and understand business metrics.
- Structured thinking and ability to connect user experience with operational risks.
- Cross-functional collaboration skills, especially working with product, operations, and customer experience teams.
1. Conduct equity research, industry research, management interviews, and site visits; and support managers by analyzing information obtained from various channels to prepare valuation reports.
2. Appraise company or asset values using the income, market, or asset-based approaches for the transaction, financial reporting, or tax purposes.
3. Communicate with clients.
4. Support the project manager to complete the engagement smoothly.
