What You Will Do
.Draft, review, and revise various types of legal agreements and commercial contracts; manage contract documentation, version control, and secure archiving to ensure compliance and audit readiness
.Formulate, update, and implement internal policies, guidelines, and procedures in alignment with applicable laws and internal governance standards
.Conduct legal and regulatory research related to financial licensing, compliance frameworks, audit standards, and emerging regulations in relevant jurisdictions

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Privacy Counsel to join our team. The successful candidate will play a role in overseeing and managing our organization's privacy-related activities and will be involved in working with cross-entities and functional teams to ensure compliance with applicable privacy regulations and manage privacy issues that arise.
[Responsibilities]
1. Risk Assessment:
* Conduct comprehensive privacy impact assessments (PIA) and risk analyses for new and existing services and features.
* Identify and evaluate potential privacy risks, considering both legal and operational perspectives.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement measures to mitigate identified privacy risks.
2. Document Review:
* Examine and analyze privacy-related documents, such as contracts, data protection agreements, and policies, primarily in English.
* Draft and revise privacy terms in collaboration with legal and business teams to reflect company interests effectively.
3. Legal Guidance:
* Provide legal advice on privacy-related matters to both internal and external stakeholders, including executives, managers, and partners.
* Stay updated on emerging privacy laws and regulations to ensure organizational compliance.
* Develop and deliver training sessions and guidelines to educate teams on privacy best practices and regulatory requirements.
4. Incident Response:
* Support the organization in addressing privacy incidents or breaches, including initial assessment, investigation, and containment.
* Liaise with regulatory bodies and affected parties as necessary to manage and resolve incidents effectively.
5. Data Request Response:
* Manage and fulfill data requests from individuals exercising their privacy rights and request from authorities, ensuring timely and compliant responses.
6. Privacy-Related Litigation:
* Advise on and assist with privacy-related litigation, disputes, or regulatory inquiries.
* Coordinate with external legal counsel as needed to represent the company's interests effectively.
7. Other Duties:
* Handle additional privacy-related tasks as assigned by management.
* Support continuous improvement of the company's privacy frameworks and policies.
