1. Perform DC/RF characterization, analysis, and modeling of semiconductor devices, including GaN, HBT, pHEMT, switches, diodes, and passive components.
2. Develop EM substrates for ADS and Microwave Office (MWO) simulation tools.
3. Operate measurement equipment such as probe stations, network analyzers (PNA), and DC power supplies.
4. Support design kit development and release.

Major Areas of Responsibility

- Perform high speed signal integrity simulation including 10G/40G、25G/100G、PCIE、SATA、DP、USB、DDR3/DDR4/DDR5.
- Perform pre-layout, layout constraint, and post-layout simulation processes.
- PCB stackup design and layout review for high speed signal and PDN.
- Build component models to ensure the correlation between SI/PI simulation and measurement.
- Solid SI experience in resolving technical issues and performing detailed analysis.

- Collaborating with EE teams to refine high-speed signal performance.
- Collaborate with the layout engineer to provide clear layout guidelines and enhance footprint optimization.

RF Engineer
1. RF development, design review and progress control of Netcom Product
2. Guide RF testing, verification and debugging
3. Discuss product RF specifications and development details with customers in English
4. Lead the R&D team members to jointly achieve the project objectives
5. Cross-departmental communication, coordination and cooperation
Responsibilities
• Architects and designs highly complex RF circuit and system design projects. Finishes the phases of the projects on-schedule and in budget. Follows through on all aspects of product development through release, certification and mass production.
• Input RF design and functional knowledge across multiple engineering disciplines and program management to provide technical leadership to a given program.
• Defines and verifies RF requirements using RF design tools to aid in the analysis and solving of complex problems.
• Exercises judgment (within broadly defined policies and practices) in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining the most accurate and repeatable results
Preferred Qualification:
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin
• 4-5 years work experience (min)
• Hands on mobile phone design experience, with deep understanding of cellular, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and NFC technologies.
• Familiar with commercial RF-related simulation tools.
• Familiar with regulatory, compliance, network certification process and requirement.
• Familiar and experience with production process and related technical support.
Preference given to the individual with practical experience in:
• 4-5 years of practical industry experience in designing with RF circuits using the latest Smartphone chipsets (i.e., Qualcomm, Intel, MediaTek, etc.)
• Detailed understanding of all aspects of a complete mobile wirelessly-enabled product development lifecycle; concept through mass production
• RF/EM CAD simulation (i.e., ADS, CST, etc.) including RF simulation of circuits, PCBs, cascaded RF link analysis, etc.
• Noise / RF interference mitigation and troubleshooting methods
• RF system integration (radio/antenna) design, debugging and optimization
• Proven RF design proficiency to achieve FCC/ETSI/3GPP compliance with recent success cases
