Serve as a key member of the design team, responsible for electrical systems development and coordination on construction projects. This role involves close collaboration with the firm’s project team members (mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and technology systems designers and engineers), as well as architects, consultants, clients, and contractors. Responsibilities include identifying project needs, developing engineering concepts, and presenting options and recommendations to achieve project goals. Professionalism, technical knowledge, and a trustworthy presence are essential to success in this position.
【工作內容】
Apply strong technical design skills to produce accurate and timely deliverables. Support project requirements through client interaction, field investigation, basis-of-design narratives, and development of electrical construction documents that comply with all applicable codes and standards. Responsibilities also include reviewing submittals and supporting projects through construction completion:
• Design projects in Revit and AutoCAD in compliance with Taiwan and U.S. city, state, and national building codes, as well as owner and industry standards (NEC, NFPA, IECC, IBC, LEED, etc.).
• Meet and interact with clients and project stakeholders.
• Communicate with manufacturers and contractors to stay updated on the latest trends and electrical systems technology.
• Coordinate and perform construction administration tasks, both internally and externally, to ensure successful project outcomes.
【專業知識及技能】
• Strong expertise in designing electrical systems. The following represent the minimum required knowledge and skills:
• Lighting and control
• Power and power distribution
• HVAC coordination
• Equipment coordination
• Fire alarm, etc.
• Experience in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry.
• Proficiency in current versions of Revit and AutoCAD.
• Ability to apply logic, reasoning, and organizational skills to structure concepts & ideas into deliverables.
• Working knowledge of COMcheck and applicable energy codes.
• Familiarity with NEC and NFPA Code Standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, OneNote, Word, etc.).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well within a team structure.
