About the Role
GMI Cloud is expanding its global AI infrastructure footprint with multi-megawatt data center clusters across the U.S. and Asia. We are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) experienced in managing large-scale electrical and mechanical (E&M) infrastructure delivery from EFO builds, base build integration, to system commissioning within colocation and hyper scale environments.
In this role, you will lead multi-disciplinary programs across engineering, construction, procurement, and operations, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery of data center infrastructure projects. You’ll drive alignment among internal stakeholders and external partners, while establishing scalable processes and performance metrics for GMI Cloud’s fast-growing deployment portfolio
Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end delivery of data center electrical and mechanical infrastructure projects, including EFO (Electrical Fit-Out), base building integration, power distribution, cooling systems, and system commissioning.
Partner with colocation providers, design consultants, and construction contractors to ensure project execution meets GMI’s design standards, safety, quality, and reliability requirements.
Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and risk throughout all project stages—from design development through commissioning and handover.
Coordinate with internal teams (Infra Engineering, Colo BD, Finance, Procurement, Operations) to track project readiness, site acceptance, and commissioning milestones.
Review and approve design drawings, SLDs, P&IDs, and method statements for E&M systems to ensure alignment with operational requirements and scalability.
Establish and maintain program-level dashboards to monitor portfolio performance (cost, schedule, risk, quality).
Identify and resolve blockers, anticipate dependencies, and implement lessons learned to improve delivery velocity and quality.
Drive process standardization and vendor accountability across multiple regional projects, promoting a data-driven decision-making culture.
Facilitate communication with stakeholders across the U.S., Taiwan, and Korea to ensure cross-region alignment in build strategy and execution.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
8+ years of experience managing large-scale data center or mission-critical infrastructure projects (EFO, MEP, base build integration, commissioning).
Proven track record of delivering multi-megawatt projects in colocation or hyperscale environments.
Strong understanding of medium-voltage and low-voltage power systems, UPS and PDU configurations, chiller and CRAH systems, and building management/SCADA controls.
Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing vendors through design, build, and commissioning phases.
Strong program management fundamentals: scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and change control.
Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% as required.
