Jan De Nul Group shapes both water and land. We are active in offshore, marine, civil and environmental projects. Within our offshore division, we offer services in seabed interventions, offshore structure and cable installation and decommissioning as well as full scope EPCI (engineering, procurement, construction, installation). In all our activities, we strive for leadership and operational control.
For our ongoing and future projects in Taiwan, we are looking for an Electrical Engineer to prepare and coordinate our work activities.
As Electrical Engineer, you will
- Coordinate works, suppliers and subcontractors, whilst maintaining operational control
- Report on the progress and completion of these works
- Procure the necessary materials and services needed for these works
- Engineer the work execution methodology, working closely together with the direct colleagues, JDN's competence centres and specialists
Within the Electrical Department, you will report to the Electrical Package Manager and the above function description may be applied to works related to
- Submarine (high voltage) cable termination and testing
- Fibre optic works and testing
- Low voltage systems such as CCTV, structural monitoring, radar systems, navigation aids, data networks
- Interfacing with the wind turbine generators
- Overall project completion

Profile:
You are an electrical engineer who can communicate fluently in both English and Mandarin. You have strong communication skills and a can-do mentality.
Advantages are prior experience in working in project environments, working with subcontractors, and knowledge of above mentioned systems.
• Set up x86 and SoC platforms for electrical and functional validation.
• Set up thermal solutions, debugger, oscilloscopes, and power measurement equipment.
• Execute test plan on engineering systems that involve stress testing, functional testing, power measurements, etc.
• Independently manage a group of systems to ensure stability and uninterrupted operation.
• Assist in debug of basic PCB, chip, and network issues; document observations and report result to help resolve issues.
Basic scripting that includes modifying existing automation scripts where applicable Collect data/execute test plan for chip screening and fusing Collect data from large number of systems, verify logs, identify failures/marginalities/outliers and report to the function owner.
