Alarm.com (ADC) seeks experienced and knowledgeable Manufacturing Quality Engineers responsible for managing manufacturing quality on-site at ADC's manufacturing partner's factories. In this role, you will act as the key interface on all aspects of the manufacturing quality, including IQC, IPQC, OQC, OBA, GRR, ORT, and CQI, between the Manufacturing Director and our manufacturing partners. You will conduct necessary manufacturing quality audits to ensure the manufactured products meet the ADC's quality requirements and manufacturing processes. Having deep technical understanding of manufacturing processes and practical experience in quality issue investigations, QA/QC practices, and supplier quality management are essential for success.
【Responsibilities】
· Follow the instructions from the Manufacturing Director to audit the executions per SIPs for IQC, IPQC, OQC and to conduct quality controls per SIPs for OBA, GRR, ORT and CQI.
· Take the instructions from the Manufacturing Director to perform quality validation procedures for SMT, DIP and FATP.
· Report to the Manufacturing Director on reviewing SCARs for component suppliers and 8Ds from manufacturing partners, implement quality training programs and/or additional quality requirements based on 8Ds, and track SCARs and 8D for continuous component and manufacturing quality improvement.
· Gather historical manufacturing quality data to compare current with historical trends.
· Compile manufacturing partner's quality performance based on the manufacturing quality metrics provided by the Manufacturing Director.
· Assist the review of SCARs for component suppliers and 8Ds from manufacturing partners, implement quality training programs and/or additional quality requirements based on 8Ds, and track SCARs and 8D for continuous component and manufacturing quality improvement.
· Work with manufacturing partners on analyzing the source of cause for material quality issues and drive for improvement from issue owners to ensure production running smoothly and efficiently.
· Support Manufacturing Director and work with Product Managers to review RMA claims from customers, to conduct root-cause analysis with the manufacturing partners, and to drive the corrective resolutions as part of the overall improvement plan.
· Work with Manufacturing Test Engineers and Production Engineers to validate and to ensure the manufacturing environment and production setup across the entire production system at all manufacturing sites are established and maintained according to the same quality standards.
· Team up with Production Engineers and manufacturing partners to monitor on-going production quality and to continuously improve manufacturing quality including that of product assembly, test setup, and testing environment.
· Support Production Engineers on manufacturing process simplification, optimization and standardization to achieve stable production lines with high quality yields.
