We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented HR Specialist to provide comprehensive HR support, including talent acquisition, C&B administration, annual performance management, enhance employee relations and all HR-related function in our Taiwan Branch. This role is ideal for someone passionate about people, processes, and continuous improvement in HR practices.
Key Responsibility
• Serve as the principal liaison between the management and employees regarding HR related matters
• Manage daily HR operations throughout staff life cycle including but not limited to the on/off-boarding activities, movements, Workday maintenance etc
• Maintain and update employee records and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality
• Handle end-to-end recruitment cycle to achieve effective hiring outcomes, from discussing job design with hiring managers, refining search directions, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews and proposing packages
• Liaise with vendors and service providers for smooth C&B operations, including but not limited to payroll calculation, benefits, insurances and taxation
• Assist in developing and reviewing HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local labour laws and regulations, and alignment with company goals and policies
• Conduct market salary benchmarking and support annual salary review processes
• Collaborate with functional leaders to understand their unique HR needs, providing strategic advice and solutions that support organizational objectives and drive business performance with minimal disruption to operation
• Support execution of performance management programs, providing guidance on goal setting, feedback, and development plans to enhance individual and team performance
• Assist in developing and implementing initiatives that aim at improving employee engagement (employer branding initiative, employee engagement events), communication, and employee retention
• Handle employee relations and resolve workplace conflicts in a professional manner, fostering a positive working environment
• Observe team dynamics, identify potential frictions or risks early, and provide timely, constructive guidance.
• Collaborate with Regional HR Team on implementation and execution of key HR projects and initiatives
• Support other duties or logistics requested by Regional HR Head
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or relevant field.
• Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience as HR generalist/similar role, less experience will be considered as HR Associate
• Experience in handling employee termination is an advantage
• Well-versed in local employment laws and regulations
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging effectively at all organizational levels
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Proactive, problem-solving approach with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• High attention to detail, confidentiality, and professionalism in managing sensitive employee information
• Multi-tasking, detail-minded, able to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Can-do spirit with an open mind in embracing changes
• Immediately available is highly preferable
