【The Role】 We are looking for a talent who has both production planner and buyer experiences. The Production Planner/Buyer prioritizes sales orders to create and implement a weekly production schedule consistent with the plant capacity and sales forecast. Production Planner ensures that all materials and resources are available to fulfill customer orders in the most cost effective and efficient manner. For a Buyer, the role will be responsible for maximizing direct materials availability and proactively optimize inventory level to meet the organization goal. Generate twelve weekly rolling production schedules for finished goods and intermediates based on demand, capacity, and raw material availability. 2. Review semi-finish goods material (abrasives) inventory against present and anticipated demand and engage central planning and purchasing team when necessary. 5.
