If you are passionate about automation, quality, and innovation, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! - What You'll Be Doing:  Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and pipelines for firmware and software.  Build and enhance test automation to improve test coverage, efficiency, and system reliability.  Work closely with product managers, developers, and application engineers to understand requirements and ensure thorough test coverage.  Execute tests for O-RAN RU firmware and software to ensure high product quality.  Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and provide actionable insights to enhance product performance and reliability.  Drive continuous improvement of testing strategies, tools, and processes to innovation and ensure high standards of quality. - What We Are Looking For:  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.  3+ years of hands-on experience in test automation, firmware development, or software engineering.  Familiarity with 5G software and associated testing methodologies is highly preferred.  Experience in developing and implementing automated test frameworks and CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Python, C, Jenkins, and modern test frameworks.  Practical knowledge of AI-powered coding tools (e.g., Cursor, Chat-gpt...) and their integration into test workflows.  Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.  Passion for quality, automation, and innovation in a fast-paced and evolving environment.  Proven experience in cross-functional collaboration and working with globally distributed teams.  A track record of leading automation initiatives or driving process improvements within engineering teams.  Ability to clearly communicate technical findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

The engineer will work closely with Field AEs, ensuring overall consistency of end-to-end design and analysis flow to meet customer needs. The engineer will also work with Sales and Marketing teams to find and develop new markets, drive new tool evaluations and help customers with the adoption and continuous usage of Static Timing, Characterization and Library Modelling, thus enabling Chip Design customers achieve best Timing, Power and Characterization Goals. Synopsys’ existing and forthcoming tools offer an advanced transistor-level static timing characterization and library modelling solution that addresses the existing and emerging challenges in custom and memory design. They offer predictability and improved productivity to designers.
