1. Familiarize, evaluate, and prepare rack components for integration into sample or small-quantity projects. 2. Ensure smooth production by troubleshooting issues, including failure analysis of defective products and enhancement of testing methods. 3. Provides valuable input for the development of new equipment specifications and product performance requirements. 4.Evaluates prospective new applications, obtain all relevant information and specifications from the potential customer, identifies suggestions, determines estimate of work required to achieve results, and determines feasibility of an application for UIC´s equipment. 5.Develops and maintains a thorough understanding of the technical specifications and capabilities of UIC products. 6.Assists/supports field engineers and customers via telephone, FAX, email, or correspondence to resolve mechanical, pneumatic, electrical and software problems associated with the operation, programming, troubleshooting and maintenance of UIC products. 7.Analyzes reports of technical problems to identify trends affecting future design, production, service and maintenance processes; may recommend design or process modifications to avoid future problems. 8.Communicates regularly with technical specialists, product teams and central engineering in Binghamton regarding outstanding field issues.
