Position Overview We are seeking a talented Technical Service Engineer/Manager to join our team, specializing in CPU customization computing projects. This role combines technical expertise (from either digital design OR software development background) with customer-facing responsibilities to deliver customized CPU solutions. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between our engineering teams and customers, ensuring successful project delivery and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Customer Engagement & Project Management • Communicate directly with customers to gather, analyze, and document technical requirements for CPU customization projects • Manage project discussions, timelines, and deliverables to ensure on-time completion • Serve as the primary technical liaison between customers and internal engineering teams • Facilitate technical meetings and provide regular progress updates to stakeholders Technical Verification & Quality Assurance • Verify and test RTL designs and/or software packages before customer delivery • Validate solutions and ensure compatibility with customer requirements • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for customized solutions • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions during project implementation Technical Support & Documentation • Provide technical guidance on CPU architecture and implementation strategies • Create and maintain technical documentation for customer deliverables • Support customers during integration and deployment phases • Contribute to continuous improvement of delivery processes and methodologies

Required Qualifications We are looking for candidates with a strong foundation in at least one of the following areas. While expertise in both is ideal, deep knowledge in one with a willingness to learn the other is a plus. Option A: Digital IP Design Background • Proficiency in understanding and analyzing designs written in Verilog or SystemVerilog • Experience with RTL simulation using industry-standard tools (VCS, Xrun, or equivalent) • Ability to generate and debug simulation patterns and testbenches • Understanding of digital design principles and verification methodologies Option B: Software Development Background • Strong ability to read and understand programming languages • Proficiency with GCC toolchain and development environments • Understanding of build systems and code compilation flow (Makefiles, CMake, build automation) • Solid understanding of operating system fundamentals • Knowledge of software-hardware interfaces and system-level programming Essential Skills (Required for all candidates) • Excellent communication skills with ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences • Self-motivated learner with enthusiasm for new technologies and methodologies • Problem-solving mindset with analytical thinking abilities • Willingness to learn complementary skills (hardware concepts for software background, software concepts for hardware background) Preferred Qualifications (A Plus for Any Background) • Experience with RISC-V architecture and ecosystem • Understanding of CPU ISA (Instruction Set Architecture) and microarchitecture • Knowledge of bus protocols and integration methodologies (AXI, AHB, APB, etc.) • Experience with implementation flow including synthesis (for hardware candidates) • Hands-on experience with RTOS or Linux kernel development (for software candidates) • Experience with cross-compilation and embedded software build environments • Familiarity with CPU performance optimization and benchmarking
