Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator to manage and optimize logistics operations and local sourcing activities as key components of the supply chain. This role is based in Taipei and requires regular travel to our factory in Taichung to coordinate logistics and supplier activities on-site. You will ensure smooth inventory management, efficient transportation, timely delivery of goods, and effective local supplier coordination while collaborating closely with Sales, Finance, Manufacturing, and Warehouse teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Organize and manage all logistics activities, including inventory control, transportation, and storage
• Analyze and optimize logistics workflows to improve efficiency and reduce costs
• Coordinate and monitor safe and timely pick-up, shipment, and delivery of products
• Track shipments, logistics costs, timelines, and overall performance metrics
• Identify and resolve shipment delays, inventory discrepancies, and other logistics-related issues
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Sales, Finance, Manufacturing, Warehouse) to align supply chain activities
• Maintain accurate supply chain and inventory records to support forecasting and planning
• Support warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and dispatching of goods
• Travel regularly to the Taichung factory to provide hands-on logistics coordination
• Develop and maintain relationships with local suppliers to support sourcing needs
• Assist in vendor management, including sourcing, evaluation, and performance tracking of local suppliers
• Support procurement activities to ensure timely availability of materials and components from local sources
• Propose and implement process improvements focused on logistics, local sourcing, and supply chain efficiency
• Identify bottlenecks in logistics and sourcing processes and execute timely solutions
Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years' experience in logistics or supply chain coordination with a strong focus on logistics and sourcing
• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese (written and oral)
• Deep understanding of logistics systems, freight forwarding, inventory management, and supplier coordination
• General technical knowledge and ability to understand product requirements and technical processes
• Experience working with local suppliers and supporting procurement or sourcing activities is a plus
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Proactive, with a strong sense of urgency and problem-solving ability
• Ability to work independently and in a multicultural, cross-functional team environment
• Willingness to travel regularly between Taipei and Taichung
