As a member of the Plant Leadership Team, the Supply Chain Manager will model effective cross functional collaboration and actively cultivate strong teamwork across all functions at the site. They are responsible for delivering key financial and customer metrics, including On Time Delivery, Gross Inventory/DOH, and Cost Out.
• Implement methods, practices, and techniques to ensure optimal movement of materials through the supply chain to achieve cost-effective logistics practices and inventory levels while delivering world class customer experience
• Develop the replenishment strategy for part numbers in the MRP system to generate requirements for manufactured and purchased parts while ensuring desired inventory levels are maintained.
• Ensure optimal supply chain execution and production through strong cross functional teamwork (Customer Service, Manufacturing, Finance, Program Management) by recommending actions based on ERP planning and reporting
• Lead Step 3 (Production and Capacity Planning) and facilitate the SIOP process for the site, ensuring cross-functional participation, accountability, and procedural compliance with each critical step in the process, with focuses on Demand/Supply Alignment and maintaining lead times that meet market expectations.
• Analyze and manage aggregate inventory levels in relation to customer requirements to meet profit and inventory targets and goals. Direct the materials planning and procurement team in analyzing the need for and size of strategic inventories to meet customer demand fluctuations. Arranges for the sale of scrap, obsolete, surplus materials and by-products in order to minimize excess material.
• Develop and deploy a formalized cycle counting procedure to inspect and ensure inventory on-hand accuracy and insuring P L impact communicated to plant finance team.
• Manage Shipping/Receiving and Stockroom functions.
• Execute a global sourcing strategy that simplifies Golf Pride's supply base and leverages our scale for improved cost, delivery performance, and stability of supply.
• Lead material cost out program to identify and execute cost savings projects totaling 3% of spend YoY through actions including: cost saving project management, negotiation of favorable payment terms, pricing, MOQ, lot sizes, etc. with suppliers.
• Ensure that suppliers comply with Eaton's Supplier Code of Conduct and Corporate Social Responsibility standards. Regularly audits suppliers to ensure responsible sourcing and employment practices consistent with industry guidelines (e.g. ILO), customer requirements, and Golf Pride's brand standard.
• Integrate and promote the subcontractor management capability.
• Manage plant purchasing activities for items procured on a local basis. Manages tooling/supplies costs and highlights issues and takes corrective actions to ensure plant meets its profit plant objectives.
• Partner with site NPD teams to develop supplier relationships and source new materials necessary to develop breakthrough products in our category.
• Partner with site manufacturing teams to drive lowest total cost of acquisition and highest material availability to support ongoing production operations.

• Establish processes and metrics that develop planner, buyer and SCM team member skills consistent with Model Plant processes, policies and objectives.
• Engage workforce and promote personal accountability by identifying goals, empowering employees to drive decision making, fostering innovation and continuous learning, by providing ongoing feedback.
• Develop and maintains performance metrics to drive results and analyze results as a tool for identifying and initiating process improvements.
