-Minimum of two years merchandising experiences in Knits/Woven apparel under a buying office/trading company or garment factory is plus.

• Go-to support person under Business Department on track to becoming Sales /
Project Manager depending on the performance.
• Support the interaction with new and existing customers by phone and email.
• Communicate with vendors / suppliers based primarily in the United States.
• Process inquiries, quotations, purchase orders and data entry.
• Follow up with clients on their projects.
• Interact with internal teams to meet the needs of the clients.
• Maintain the utmost accuracy of all work performed.
• Other administrative & sales support duties as assigned.
Approval Processes
• Monitor fabric, accessory and garment sample progress and provide updates to Merchants
• Assist Technician to check samples including measurements and compare to Tech Pack
• Arrange delivery of samples to customer and factory in timely and cost efficient manner
Production Assistance
• Prepare production package for QA including:
o Tech Pack
o Order Details
o Fabric quality standards
o Accessory quality standards
o Garment samples
o Colour samples
• Monitor status of fabric and accessory orders and appraise Merchandise team
• Assist Merchandising Team in:
o Work with factory in approval of fabrics, trims and samples according to client’s requirements
o Fabric and Trim ordering and monitoring of receipt
o Oversee cut, sew and packing processes and ensure progress meets client deadlines through liaison with Factory and internal shipping resources
• Gather information regarding likely shipping dates and forward to director
Administration
• Maintain orderly and systematic filing system for pre and inline production records including:
o In and out communications with customer and factory
o Sample checks
o Mailing documentation
o Customer order specs including fabric swatches, accessory samples, tech packs
o Purchase orders
o Approved fabric and accessory samples
o QA inspection request forms
o QA reports
o Shipping documentation
• Provide general administrative support to the merchandise team
Ad-hoc Projects
• Participate in ad-hoc projects as assigned by Merchandising team
