This position functions as a technical expert owning both chemicals and equipment expertise for PCB circuit metallization, works with R&D, Product line management, and commercial team in new product commercialization, application development, and critical trouble-shooting providing to customers.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES (BUT NOT LIMITED TO):
• Interact with PCB fabricators frequently to understand customers' needs, defend existing business, and explore new opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal functional groups to accelerate new product development and commercialization by contributing field knowledge.
• Leverage efficient expertise to expand DuPont products to different processes and equipment allocation.
• Work closely with commercial team and provide technical services including new product promotion, installation, and critical troubleshooting to meet customer needs by equipping with technology professionals.
• Bring tech-marketing insights into the organization.
Requirements:
• MS degree or above in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering/Materials or equivalent.
• 5+ years experience in PCB industry.
• 5+ years experience in horizontal electroless Cu process used in PCB industry.
• Strong data analytical and DOE capabilities. Comfortable and experienced with using data analytics to drive decisions. Familiar with analytical software (e.g. JMP, Minitab, MS Excel).
• A strong self-motivator with good working discipline, interpersonal skills, and leadership potential.
• Strong logical thinking and business acumen.
• Fluent in written English. Listening & speaking capability is an advantage.
• Willing to travel.
About the Role
You will:
• Lead the Crop Protection Business Planning team consisting of Financial and Operational Business Planners.
• Act as financial and operational planner, advisor, challenger and business partner to the Local Business Manager (LBM) and the local management team in all matters of financial relevance including daily business steering and projects/initiatives.
• Owner of the local demand planning & review process.
How You Will Do It
• Assume ownership for the demand planning & review process. Ensure demand adequately takes into consideration opportunities and risks. Balance between realizing sales potential and managing inventory risks.
• Drive constant improvement of demand planning accuracy.
• Ensure depletion plans for excess inventories are developed and implemented in a timely manner.
• Support value based decision making throughout the organization targeting sustainable optimization of absolute Market Performance.
• Perform financial evaluations for projects (e.g. business models, go-to-market approach, portfolio management) and provide recommendations.
• Develop mid-to long-term financial targets. Support LBM steering business towards mid-term targets and track achievement.
• Drive operational excellence projects. Initiate processes improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness in business planning and beyond.
• Establish business planning teams as central business function and support constant development of required skillset of team members.
What We Look For
• Bachelor's Degree or above in Finance / Accounting
• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in the area of Controlling and/or Supply Chain
• Advanced finance and accounting skills, proficiency in interpretation and analysis of financial reports

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Cooperate with R&D researchers to generate the technical data and services for materials promotions including customer feedback tracking.
2. Establish the knowledge and know-how in molding relevant field, and define technical standards to enable best practices in all technical areas in collaboration with INN technical lab aligning to technical parameters in customers side.
3. Assist R&D researchers to find out the RcA of customers complaint, but also hand-over of his/her specific technical work package to lab relevant colleagues (QC) for following quality tracking.
4. Foster experience exchange and promote knowledge transfer between sites within the region.
5. Provide technical training to customers about material, processing and design guideline.
6. Establish new testing method, SOP which are able to simulate real situation as close as customers in strategic key industries.
7. Knowledge of common laboratory procedures and skill and mechanical aptitude in handling laboratory equipment as well as modifying/adapting laboratory equipment for specific development programs.
8. Work together with production, product management. Assist Head of Innovation TPU APAC to manage day to day business.
