Acer Fashion (AFS) integrates sustainable design with smart technology to redefine modern lifestyle accessories. We are looking for a Technical Project Manager for Smart Wearables to lead cross-functional collaboration among design, hardware, software, and manufacturing partners, ensuring on-time delivery and top-quality product experience.
1. Product Development Leadership
• Lead the end-to-end development of smart wearables—from concept, specification, prototyping, validation, to MP.
• Translate consumer insights and marketing requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications.
• Proactively research and analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor offerings to guide future product direction.
2. Technical and Quality Management
• Coordinate with ODM/OEM partners and component suppliers for feasibility studies, BOM evaluation, and development schedule control.
• Drive DFM/DFT/DFQ reviews to ensure robust and scalable product design.
• Manage certification and compliance processes (FCC, CE, BSMI, etc.) and oversee electrical, mechanical, and reliability testing.
3. System and Integration Management
• Collaborate with firmware and app/software teams on BLE connectivity, OTA updates, UX/UI integration, and app–device data flow validation.
• Ensure seamless integration of hardware, firmware, and software for optimal user experience.
4. Cross-functional and Supplier Collaboration
• Work closely with internal and external teams (designer, R&D, manufacturer, marketing, sales, etc.) to align technical execution with brand and business goals.
• Develop and manage relationships with suppliers and service providers, ensuring alignment on quality, delivery, and sustainability standards.
5. Project Governance and Reporting
• Track milestones, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans to maintain timeline, budget, and quality objectives.
• Prepare technical documentation, project status reports, and key decision materials for management and group-level reviews.
• Support pilot production and field testing, gathering insights for continuous product improvement and next-generation roadmap planning.
