Thermal Simulation Application Engineer

• Responsible for providing pre-sales technical support and assistance of post-sales support.
• Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with customers in support.
• Review customers’ design of Compute/Storage servers, racks from thermal perspective.

Key duties:
• New Product Spec documentation: Using customer insight and collected data to guide product development, launch and optimize new products within a portfolio.
• Product management: support product portfolio optimization, assist with the maintenance of sampling, technical documentation and reporting.
• Prioritize Like a Pro: Analyze needs and data to establish the features that matter most, driving strategic development.
• Insights and reporting: Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities and prepare data-driven insights and reports using google sheet/excel to guide strategic product decisions.
• Product Training: build assets to support training and education to our internal teams and our customers
• Coordinate sprint planning and backlog prioritization: Cross functional team collaboration for feature prioritization, and design decisions to deliver high quality features on time.
• Product success metric: Set and track product success metrics, analyzing data to make data-driven improvements and guide future development.
• High-impact problem sprint: lead and host the high-impact problem sprint to mitigate the issue on product portfolio lifecycle management.
Responsibilities:
- Participate and lead in development efforts in thermal solutions, engage and closely collaborate with suppliers to deliver high quality products
- Identify technology risks, contribute to overall system architecture and optimize Total - Cost of Ownership, work with cross functional teams
- Take responsibility for thermal design, including requirements gathering, concepts generation and detailed design, analysis and verification testing, cross-functional reviews
- Design and specification of thermal designs including heat sinks, heat exchangers, fans, thermal controls and all supporting equipment during the product development cycle

We are looking for a Product Manager who is responsible for new product planning, product lifecycle management and some kinds of sales supports.
As a Product Manager in Innodisk, you are responsible for:
1. New product planning: market/technology survey, competitor analysis, product positioning, roadmap planning.
2. Product/Project development management, across functional teams (HW, SW, ME, QA, PE, etc.) to keep schedule on track.
3. Cost optimization, key component supplier management, risk assessment, pricing strategy.
4. Product lifecycle management till EOL, and support worldwide business inquiry.
5. Product collateral generation and product go-to-market planning.
6. Key account communication such as forecast, schedule, regular reports, etc.
Requirements:
1. At least 3 years of work experience PM field in the industrial computing and electronics industry.
2. A strong knowledge of industrial PC products and technologies is a plus.
3. A good understanding of industrial computing and electronics market and customer needs is a plus.
4. Capable of efficiently managing multiple projects simultaneously.
