What this job involves
The role of Facilities Coordinator will assist Facilities Manager/ Assistant Facilities Manager to run daily operations in terms of soft services, helpdesks, EHS/ COVID related support, fixed assets management, vendor & contract management, procurement & FIN processing, space management, project/ MAC/ initiatives support, management reports, and adhoc assignments whenever needed.
Major Responsibilities
-Proactively engage stakeholders to ensure that on site client’s expectations are met
-Maintain the office in neat and good working condition at all times
-Ensure all maintenance work orders are completed on time to a high standard
-Ensure that vendor procurement processes comply with agreed client procurement guidelines
-Actively working towards making sure financial processes are always being followed
-Ensuring that all working environments meet all requisite WH&S standard
Interested? An ideal candidate would need to have the following qualifications
-University Degree with strong interpersonal skills;
-Good at documentation, and MS software;
-Over 2 years’ experience in managing facilities preferred;
-Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese languages.
Authorized and responsible to perform all duties in accordance with BDEL Quality, Safety and Employee Policies and procedures:
• Due to their proximity to key vendors, may support critical projects by supporting vendors, ensuring instructions and deliverables are clear, and articulating challenges and delays back to the design team.
• Responsible for providing consultation, insight, and supporting data for constructions, materials, and factory capabilities related to a proposed design concept.
• Responsible for coordinating finished product development, and manufacturing integration from design into bulk production. This may include oversight of all sales samples production to ensure alignment with Black Diamond’s documentation relating to the applicable products.
• Authorized and responsible to provide development timeline status and task assignments through various project management delivery systems (ERP system, design team meetings, etc)
• Responsible for the creation, proper and timely maintenance of all required development documentation as specified by the Dir of Product Development or relevant manager.
• Consistently seeks out new technologies, bring them to the BD Design teams for future projects. This may require attending local trade shows, new vendors, or pushing existing vendors to adopt novel manufacturing methods that provide a competitive advantage to BD and its customers.
• Strategic Supplier/Vendor Management - Working in close alignment with the Product side of the business and Supply Chain, the Product Development Engineer will actively participate in discovering, qualifying and managing relationships with Black Diamond’s strategic vendor base. These responsibilities include:
o Understanding the sorts of vendor capabilities that are needed to bring to market innovative BD designs in the lowest cost manner possible
o Managing this vendor base to assure adherence to all requirements established in BD’s Vendor Guide
o Aligning vendor capacities with customer demand
o Seeking to expand the vendor base to support demand growth
o Establishing seasonal costing parameters and negotiating costing for in-line product
o Conducting semi-annual vendor reviews

Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan, review, and execute 161kV high-voltage switching operations (onshore & offshore)
2. Issue and cancel safety documents; approve and manage switching schedules
3. Develop and implement LOTO (Lock-out Tag-out) procedures
4. Provide technical consultancy on HV switching operations
5. Act as an internal Trainer, preparing materials and training local engineers
6. Collaborate with the Taiwan O&M team and international experts
Requirements:
1. Valid SAP Certificate (high-voltage authorization)
2. Proven 161kV HV switching experience (onshore + offshore preferred)
3. Familiar with safety documentation and switching records
4. Strong communication skills in English (all documents handled in English)
5. Offshore wind / power plant / HV industry background highly desirable
Note:
1. Work types: Onshore / Offshore / Standby
2. Onshore: Mainly in Central and Southern Taiwan (Yunlin, Chiayi, Tainan)
3. Offshore: Mainly in Central and Southern Taiwan (Yunlin, Chiayi, Tainan)
4. Work schedule: Monday to Friday, with weekend standby rotation
5. English CV required — most clients and offshore operations are with foreign stakeholders, so strong English proficiency is a must
6. Project timeline: Start ASAP, initially until the end of June 2026 (potential extension to Sept–Oct, with possibility of conversion to permanent role)
7. Daily rate or monthly rate negotiable based on candidate’s capability — offering salaries above market standards
8. Open to foreign candidates! (Taiwan APRC is a strong advantage)
