Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Network Manager to lead the design, implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of our global network infrastructure. This individual will support and optimize network operations across multiple sites located in the North America, Europe & Asia regions. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in a small but globally distributed company environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Network Design & Management: Manage, design, and implement secure and reliable network solutions (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, SD-WAN) across all global sites.
• Performance Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Continuously monitor network performance and availability. Diagnose and resolve network issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Documentation & Standards: Maintain accurate network diagrams, asset inventories, and configuration documentation. Establish global standards and best practices.
• Security & Compliance: Implement and maintain firewalls, VPNs, and security policies to ensure data protection and compliance with international regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
• Disaster Recovery & Redundancy Planning: Develop and maintain backup and redundancy strategies to minimize network downtime and risk.
• Collaboration with IT Teams: Collaborate with local and remote IT staff to support business units and ensure consistent network experiences worldwide.
• Local end user support: Provide daily support of local end user community & production floor employees. Address help desk tickets in a timely manner & provide excellent customer service.
1. Providing office IT environment support and data center infrastructure administration and user problems troubleshooting.
2. Ensuring site IT resources are adequately protected from internal and external threats
3. Ensuring critical IT resources are restored to minimize any disruption to the business (IT disaster recovery plans)
4. Installing and configuring operating systems, anti-virus software and other applications
5. Ensuring the Company complies with the global and regional IT requirements in terms of the hardware and software platforms to be used
6. Conducting IT security compliance training to all users periodically and performing IT compliance checks among Asian sites periodically per Group’s requests
7. Good communication skill in team-support and detail-oriented are required.
8. Completing ad-Hoc projects as required
Join the world's leading international Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) vendor who is growing their services business in ASEAN and needs to recruit further team members to work as Consultants/Engineers, based in Taiwan.
To be a candidate for this role you will ideally have worked in a laboratory and have experience or aptitude in computer programming. Having used a LIMS would be beneficial.
Successful candidates will receive extensive internal training and mentoring. This is an exciting role with a variety of responsibilities and travel throughout Asia Pacific, including Taiwan.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Analyse and document customer requirements.
2. Implementing LabWare LIMS through configuration.
3. Deliver training courses to the customer project team.
4. Assist customers with their validation and testing stages appropriate to their industry.
5. The ability to work with minimal supervision and provide direction to customers.
Requirements (preferred):
1. A tertiary qualification in Science and/or Information Technology.
2. Fundamental programming skills such as Basic language.
3. An understanding of laboratory or QC processes.

• Assist with the diagnosis of hardware and software
• Power cycling of customer equipment
• Perform cabinet/cage audits
• Blade/Card, Memory, Hard Drive, and Transceiver installations or removal
• Testing and troubleshooting of copper and fiber optic circuits
• Perform migrations of equipment, power, or networking devices
• Shipping and receiving of packages
• Oversee and maintain the Access Control System for the facility
• Maintain the DVR and CCTV cameras for the facility
• Help Security administer badges for internal and external customers
• Receive, install, and test customer and internal cross connects of copper and fiber optic interconnections
• Provide timely customer and internal updates using a computer-based ticketing system
• Receive, log, and store internal packages
• Perform and document inventory verification/counts
• Perform infrastructure builds
• Perform DC power installations per Facility Engineering design specifications
• Monitor and report on Mechanical HVAC systems
• Monitor and report on Critical Power Systems
• Maintain overall Data Center cleanliness and appearance
• Work flexible shift schedules
• Provide rotational on-call coverage
• Report to the facility within a 1-hour average for emergency outage assistance
