About the Role The Rework Planner plays a critical role in value creation by converting interim into saleable products. , reducing scrap costs, and maintaining production flow. Rework Planning & Scheduling Develop and maintain standard rework process. Adherence to rework schedules in alignment with MPS to minimize production disruption Coordinate with DRP, commercials, Warehouse, Quality, and procurement to prioritize rework based on business urgency and material criticality Optimize rework resource allocation (labor, equipment, space) to meet throughput targets Integrate rework requirements into MRP runs to ensure material availability 2. Material and inventory management Develop plan to have optimize inventory (To have right level of inventory to deliver business seamlessly and maintain service level) Track and improve non-performing inventory (SLOB management). We are looking for Logistic and Material Planner to join our Taipei Circular Line-II OCS Project dynamic team in Alstom Taiwan. Logistic and Material Planner is Deputy of the Project Material Manager, responsible to manage his Supplier's portfolio (Internal and/or External suppliers) for ensuring goods delivery at right time, quantity and place based on Alstom needs. He also expresses delivery needs to suppliers and contribute to governance of the Supplier's delivery performances. What are my responsibilities? In contract or program execution: ◇ Drive action plan for performance improvement & contribute to risk management. ◇ Collaborate with the Procurement team (incl. Project Material Manager and Project Procurement manager) to ensure the contractual agreements are reflected in the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system. ◇ Follow up the logistics and packaging. ◇ Work closely with PMM/PM/Logistics for preparation like - SCM Spec., Billing information, PR process etc. Network & Links internally: ◇ Logistics Teams ◇ Production ◇ Procurement ◇ Quality ◇ SDPM (Supplier Delivery Performance Manager) ◇ PrSCL (Project Supply Chain Leader) / PrIdM (Project Industrialization Manager) ◇ Engineering & Industrialization ◇ Finance ◇ Global Supply Chain Team ◇ Internal Suppliers (other Alstom Sites) Network & Links externally: ◇ External Suppliers ◇ Transportation Provider ◇ 3PL (External Logistics Provider) Missions: ◇ Express delivery needs to Suppliers using the dedicated tools ◇ Follow up deliveries and ensure the availability of goods for Alstom projects ◇ Monitor Supplier's performances KPI's ◇ Participate/lead Supplier's performances improvement ◇ Contribute with SC inputs for supplier selection ◇ Contribute to the project SC objectives and targets by ensuring material planning and ERP settings are in line with these objectives Tasks: ◇ Internal suppliers: Manage Purchase Requisition until Material Planning documents creation ◇ External suppliers: Prepare the Purchase Requisition and follow up with Procurement the Purchase Requisition level maturity for launching Material Planning documents ◇ Ensure and update the accuracy of material planning master data (in compliance with stock and logistic constraints) ◇ Releasing PR in GSI system using input shared by PMM in PO Tracker sheet and send PO created by Sourcing to Supplier and follow up for order acknowledgement and ensure on time delivery of material. ◇ Create the Material Planning documents (Call-off, Schedule Agreement) & respective Source List and Quota Management ◇ Need to interact majorly with local suppliers and if need interact with customer as well for any critical matter. ◇ Need to communicate and manage supplier related issue impacting delivery or quality of material. ◇ Update the internal or external reports to understand the overall status for supply chain activities.
