【Full Job Description】 Merry Electronics is currently looking to hire a Technical Product Lead (TPL). The TPL resides under the Field Application Engineering group (FAE) and is responsible for all technical aspects of collaborating with customers to solve product design challenges to meet client needs and ensure a positive customer experience. The ideal candidate should be an expert in one specific field of relevant product design discipline (Acoustic, Mechanical, Plastics, Electrical, Antenna/RF, or Power/Battery) with a good understanding of the working principles and development methodologies of most if not all of the rest listed 【JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES】 1.Work closely with customers to identify requirements to meet customer specifications. 2.Be an integral part of the customer’s design cycle by being involved in every stage of new product development and planning. 3.Review manufacturing designs, proposals, and presentations to ensure they address customer designs, engineering, and manufacturing requirements. Prepare and clearly present design proposals to customers. 4.Be an advocate for the customer; collaborate to solve their problems together. Work closely with internal engineering teams to ensure that they are meeting the customers’ needs and be a liaison between Merry and our customers. 5.Work with cross-functional groups of acoustic, mechanical, and tooling engineers, quality control, and supply chain management teams to assess and communicate manufacturing issues and risks spanning from pre-prototype to mass production build phases. 6.Interpret 2D and 3D engineering drawings as well as FAI and Cpk statistical process capability analysis. 7.Drive day-to-day project activities to meet overall project objectives and deliverables. 8.Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. 9.~25% travel internationally to support customer visits at Merry manufacturing sites.
