BASIC FUNCTIONS
Reporting to General Manager, K&B Taiwan & Hong Kong, this position is responsible for developing and implementing sales targets at retail/ dealer's customer base. The incumbent is required to lead the retail sales force of Taiwan, formulate sales strategy, develop sales forecast, direct retailers, dealers, and /or sales force to achieve sales targets; pursue major prospects and lead in major negotiations; and conduct sales training to sales executives and distributors/dealers.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
• Understand and monitor Kohler’s distributors, dealers, retailers, competitors, and other market information.
• Maintain close connection with distributors, dealers, and retailers in the respective region.
• Develop and supervise strategic, consistent, and long-term retail sales network.
• Recommend, guide, develop, and assess new retail sales network.
• Advise problem-solving methods in relation to distributors, dealers, retailers, and customer complaints.
• Support Kohler showroom footprint expansion and upgrade showroom display.
• Monthly tracking of sell-in / sell-out sales results with action plan to enhance business growth.
• Coordinate the retail activities in respective regions in order to achieve the sales objectives.
• Provide training and guidance to the distributors/dealers to increase awareness of the importance and profitability of the retail market.
• Maintain the competitiveness of the retail sales activities and be well-versed on the retail market situation and the competition.
• Presenting new products announced by the regional channel marketing team to engage distributors for buy-in and ensure new products are displayed in all relevant marketing channels and distribution.
• Maintain all marketing assets developed or cascaded down from the regional/ global team
• Assist in trade marketing activities planning & execution including events for developers, designers, and architects, as well as consumers
• Keep abreast of competitor’s products, dealers/ retailers’ business strategies, and other related information advantageous to the company.
• Exclusion in channel marketing activities planning
• Responsible for sourcing, selection, and ordering of premiums to support sales efforts
RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTS
• Reports to the General Manager, K&B Taiwan & Hong Kong
• Communicates with different people in the retail market and distributors.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• College graduated or above with retail channel development, retail store management, business development knowledge, and general marketing/sales concept.
• 5 years of experience in retail development or sales management preferable
• Experience from plumbing or consumer durable manufacturing industries is preferable
• At least 3 years of experience in managing distributor and market development.
• Good training, communication, and interpersonal skills are required.
• Candidates with more experience may be considered for Senior Sales Executive positions.
