Your Job
1. Effectiveness service PSRs for APAC (main locations at Greater China and Singapore) product design
2. Support Molex Greater China IP team to flexibly process the IP missions
3. Support Molex (and potentially Koch’s) global legal team when needed
Our Team
1. Support various BU in APAC (main locations at Greater China and Singapore) with respect to product design
2. Working with IP teams from around the world to protect and enforce Molex IP
What You Will Do
1. Conduct searches to support freedom to operate for new Molex product designs to avoid infringement of competitors' patent.
2. Help train the Molex engineering teams to improve Molex’s ability to obtain strong IP protection.
3. Support Legal department in handling China IP legal issues, including investigations into potential infringement of Molex IP by outside companies.
4. Support Molex’s outside IP law firms in reviewing their work, including reviewing of drafted patents and other IP related documents, to ensure the scope of IP protection is reasonable and supports Molex’s long-term goals.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
EDUCATION:
REQUIRED: Major of Electronics / Electrical Engineering /
WORK EXPERIENCE:
REQUIRED: At least 8 years in IP / law firm.
Demonstrated understanding of patent claim interpretation
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
REQUIRED:
- Familiar with Patent Search
- English language skills - verbal, read & written.

Understanding of technical operation of antennas and related communication circuits

◇ Position Overview
Reporting to the relevant Language Services Manager or Assistant Director, and as an integral part of Questel’s Language Services Team, this role is responsible for producing high-quality, accurate translations of technical documents, for revising these documents where necessary, and for managing external vendor performance.
◇ Essential Functions
• Read, revise, and evaluate translated documents to detect errors in meaning, accuracy, usage, terminology, spelling, grammar, style, tone, and syntax, and any discrepancy from the source text.
• Edit translated documents to ensure a true and accurate representation of source document content, adherence to style guides, and compliance with client-specific and country-specific publication specifications
• Conduct quality control of translations in the target text (Traditional Chinese) and against the source text (English)
• When required, perform translation and/or MT post-editing of documents
• Evaluate translator performance and provide support and guidance to translation vendors
• Manage translation memory and term bases using Questel’s internal system
• Manage Client Guidelines, TermBases, and Translation Memories
• Work on other work-related duties as assigned by management

The legal counsel will be reporting to legal head and involved in a wide range of legal matters and responsibilities. Day to day tasks are inclusive but not limited to:
• Drafting, advising and negotiating commercial contracts, such as confidentiality, procurement, supply, collaboration and/or other transactional legal documents relating to the daily operations of the Company
• Supporting fund-raising transactions and relevant due diligence exercise, including equity and debt financing projects
• Working with IP counsel and patent division to draft, review and negotiate contracts or legal documents relating to intellectual property rights, such as joint development, research, license or assignment agreements
• Advising on internal cross-functional projects and other ad hoc legal and regulatory inquiries
• Assisting in the development and implementation of policies and procedures for the Company’s global operations
• Organizing or providing internal training related to legal and intellectual property knowledge
