Responsibilities: • Work independently to develop material handling automation, process equipment design concepts and detail mechanisms in response to manufacturing needs, issues, or problems. • Conduct engineering analysis to deliver robust and cost-effective solutions for fixture / gripper design, material handling, process equipment, and process improvement projects. • Provide directions to machine builders, systems integrators, and suppliers on design and fabrication of prototypes, production equipment and material handling automation. Proactively participate in design reviews, check-out, installation, debug, and production start-up.
