7. Manage and participate in the day-to-day operations of facilities which include, but not limited to facilities maintenance, move coordination, security and space planning
8. Manage and interact with outside vendors for various services
9. Participate in annual budget planning
10. Project management oversight and active participation in office construction projects
11. Maintain all equipment warranty information
12. Responsible for the overall coordination of fire safety and schedule fire drills as required by local codes
13. Responsible for all phases of the building's operation and to respond to any emergencies in a manner which not only instills confidence in both the employees and the occupants, but also results in a minimum amount of discomfort, damage or injury to persons, equipment and other property. Must be available after hours and on weekend for emergencies and other unscheduled situations and events
14. Manage the timely delivery of facility projects, i.e., moving, space planning, property management internal service, energy management, ergonomics, recycling; This is a hands-on position
15. Manage projects with fiscal responsibility tied to financial results, cost control, corporate occupancy objectives
16. Manage and provide recommendations on long range facilities planning, security and safety management
17. Develop policies for SMC facilities which include compliance requirements, license applications, safety, injury and illness prevention, including training for employees
18. Supervise all maintenance work and repairs of HVAC, electrical, janitorial, etc.; other duties as assigned
