Job Description:
• Resources will assist client with rack, stack, and installation of key data center equipment.
• They will help troubleshoot common issues, work through various tickets, and act as a level 1 administrator for any data center issues.
• Do mechanical assembly/disassembly and install heavy GPU trays into systems
• Build up prototype open board systems on the benchtop and debug issues reported by users.
• Triage and debug systems and get systems to pass baseline diagnostics.
***NOTE: The candidate will be required to travel 50% of the time to other locations in the region (Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, etc)***
Requirements:
• Strong data center experience with rack and stack,
• Minimum of 3 years on-prem large scale data center experience supporting the Data Center equipment and/or infrastructure (Power, Space, Cooling, Equipment)
• Strong cabling skills, cable management, and dressing
• Strong NW troubleshooting experience, ideally with Supermicro Servers, Infiniband Fabric, and Mellanox, Arista Hardware
• Strong attention to detail, independent, and out of box thinking
• Solid skills in UNIX (Ubuntu or RedHat) administration and knowledge of commands, including logging into the server’s to monitor for disk failures, debug systems, etc
• Break fix server expertise, including mechanical assembly/disassembly, installing heavy GPU trays, changing system config,s and building up prototypes.
Allocate resource required to execute a project.
1.Organize all the project activities,schedule and follow up,and review schedule with customer and project team
2.Follow up on action items of kick-off, design, and project status update review meeting.
3.Provide project status report to management weekly or under request.
4.Monitor and ensure engineering design and documentation are on time and complete.
5.Root cause analyzing and problem-solving for project issue
6.Support FAT with the customer.
7.Support actions to customer service request and complaint.
8.Execute approved customer changes, update the official schedule as needed.
9.Proactively identify and manage the risks of the project.
10Plan and manage all aspects of the product introduction process (engineering, design transfer, validation, launch, scale-up)

Your Role:
• Responsible of developing and maintaining the maintenance management system on plant-wide facility.
• Lead the maintenance workforce to conduct regular inspections and assessments on equipment and execute effective maintenance to ensure equipment/facility reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure mechanical systems are integrated effectively with other engineering disciplines.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the performance and reliability of equipment and facility.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in chemical manufacturing environments from mechanical perspective.
Who You Are:
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience on mechanical and equipment maintenance, with a preference for candidates who have worked in the chemical industry, and at least 2 years of people management experience.
• Familiarity with equipment reliability and mechanical integrity in chemical plants.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Experiences in data analytics, programming is a plus.
• Proficiency in English is considered a plus for effective communication.
