Key Responsibilities: •Develop and implement Should Cost models analyzing material, labor, overhead, and profit margins. •Conduct cost breakdown analysis for procurement categories to ensure competitive pricing. •Provide cost insights for supplier negotiations, product cost reduction, and strategic decision-making. •Evaluate supplier quotations by benchmarking against internal models and market data. •Identify cost drivers in manufacturing processes and propose cost-saving opportunities. •Collaborate with suppliers for pricing transparency and cost structure improvement. •Utilize cost engineering tools (parametric modeling, regression analysis, market intelligence) for accurate estimation. •Support New Product Development (NPD) and Value Engineering (VE) with cost estimates during design stages. •Monitor material price trends, labor rates, and currency fluctuations for cost impact analysis. •Present cost analysis reports and actionable insights to leadership and procurement teams.
